During this practical module you will be driving on dual carriageways, experiencing and gaining understanding of high speed, multi-lane roads where the two carriageways are separated by a central reservation.

Throughout the module you will concentrate on :

    Judgement + planning (safe distances + the

    2 second rule).

    Joining and leaving dual carriageways.

    Use of slip roads.

    Effective observation (use of all mirrors, blind spots,

    scanning the near, middle and far distance).

    Overtaking and lane discipline.

    Correct use of speed.
