About Me
About Me
My name is Rob and I began training as an Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) in 2002, fully qualifying in 2005.
I established my own company (Apple Driving School) in 2006 and have been hugely enjoying it ever since.
All driving instructors are encouraged by the Driving Standards Agency to partake in continuous professional development, so as an element of this I am an active member of the Driving Instructors Nottingham Group (DING). We meet every month and are involved in organising various driver training related events and courses to further our training as driving instructors (recent examples would include training for new teaching techniques including coaching skills, special needs training, advanced driving tests and roadside 1st Aid).
I am also an active forum member of Driver Training Today (DTT), involved in debates on every aspect of driving and driver training. I have been on BBC Radio Nottingham debating driver training related topics.
I am very passionate about my job, which has led me to develop a wealth of resources for my profession. This includes my 6 stage syllabus and detailed personalised pupil records.
My Commitments
I work very hard to make sure I am reliable and punctual.
You will always receive the time you have paid
for in full, and often a bit extra.
I will never pick up or drop off other clients during
the time of your lesson.
You will have your own dedicated instructor (me)
and all driving tuition will be on a 1 to 1 basis.
Courses are always flexible and designed to best
suit the needs of each and every pupil.
Your instructor will be patient, friendly and cheerful!
Your lessons can be arranged around your work or study commitments. Feel free to contact me if you wish to discuss anything at all. Mini-Intensive Courses and Pass Plus are available.
My driving schools’ high pass rate is achieved by patiently ensuring pupils are trained to a very high standard, progress is tracked throughout driving lessons using my unique unique 6 stage syllabus and detailed pupil records. Pupils are fully prepared for the driving test through a series of mock tests, closely simulating the practical driving test.
